A SOUTHERN BELLE BORN AND RAISED in Memphis, Tennessee; hospitality, social grace, and elegance with a dash of spice and everything nice, sprinkled with real-life experiences with a splash of hard knocks is a pretty accurate depiction of Author Sophia McBride.
Sophia Ford McBrideis first and foremost a submitted child of God called by the Lord Jesus Christ to set the captives free through bringing forth His unadulterated Word with power and passion. As a vigilant fierce prayer warrior, she is an end-time prophetic voice of God, set aside to release the Word of the Lord for the people of God, cities, states, and nations. God uses her in an exceptionally unique way to minister hope to the hopeless, extend healing to the sick, deliverance to the oppressed, speak life to the dead, and sing the prophetic song of the Lord. She teaches the Word of God with simplicity and imparts biblical truths to those with a receptive heart.
After conquering and overcoming many formidable challenges, Sophia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age nine. “I remember very vividly telling my mother that I wanted to be saved. My salvation was solidified during the two years I attended St. Joseph Catholic School. They taught me the Word of God and I believed it, said Sophia.”
In 2004, Sophia was Licensed and Ordained by the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) as an Evangelist Missionary after many years of studying, training, submitting to authority, and much impartation from great men and women of God. As a result of many years of seeking God and leading 5:30 AM Prayer, God birthed in Sophia the gift and anointing to write divine books that when applied to one’s life, bring deliverance, liberation, and confidence in one’s authority in Christ Jesus. To date, Sophia has written three powerful books in her “Hell’s Enemy” series and released her first children’s book, "Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People." She has ministered in countless seminars and conferences and has appeared as a guest on Christian international networks. In 2021, Sophia was promoted to the high honor of National Evangelist in The Church of God In Christ.
Though Sophia performed throughout her life in local and church play, and sang gospel music all of her life in different venues, it wasn’t until October 2013 that she finally acquired an agent and pursued professional acting. Though Sophia has been in many regional commercials and played Cindy Trimm a well-known international minster on Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural”, her greatest accomplishment to date as an actor is working with Academy Award winner Octavia Spenser on the show “Red Band Society” during the 2014/2015 season. Sophia played the role of LaVerne, as part of a trio backup singing group.
Sophia is married to Pastor Earl McBride, CPA. She birthed four beautiful, gifted, and brilliant children, KaylaVera, Earl III, Jackson, and Heavenleigh Sapphire; and has countless spiritual children. Though the call of God is apparent on her life, raising God-fearing educated productive children infused with the Word of God is her primary focus.
